I know that life can be overwhelming at times. And then what do you do in those circumstances? I want to suggest to you that God invades then. God welcomes the opportunity of invading your life when it is overwhelming. In the midst of life the Spirit of God brings a new thought, a reminder, a revelation.

Do you remember back in the Old Testament when Job lost all of his children, lost all of his wealth and all of his body was covered with sores. He had three or four friend that gathered around him and those friend universally told him, 'It's because of sin in your life.'

So for 38 chapters in Job, Job comes back to God and says,
'Why? Why is this happening to me?'

God never answers that question. He never welcomes Job to the table and says, 'Well here is your journey so far, and this is what's ahead and this is why this was necessary.'

You know what God does do? He invades Job's mind with a new revelation of who He is. And When God does that for you, it sets you free. So with Job, God invades his life with a new revelation of who God is, and it is enough. He can go on now. I don't know what journey you're on, but God would welcome the opportunity of speaking into your life and bringing you a new revelation.

But those who suffer He delivers in their suffering; He speaks to them in their affliction. He is wooing you from the jaws of distress to a spacious place free from restriction, to the comfort of your table laden with choice food.
