Before Lauren & I sang this song in church 2 weeks ago, she and I had a long talk about what each of the words meant, and I said that we needed to really believe it before we got on stage. We talked about your 'depth of sorrow'...you may recall that Lauren asked Jesus into her heart on July 21/07...because of Nathan. I don't understand or appreciate the events of the past 9 months, but I cling to the simple truth of the song, and pray that God will surround you with His arms of love today.

I have been thinking of you all day. Yesterday we spent the evening with Doug and Elissa. I asked them when your anniversary was because I knew it was some time in May. I can't imagine the thoughts and emotions you have had today.
I am so glad I was able to meet you. You are such a beautiful woman both inside and out. I can see why Nate loved you so much.
I pray that you will sense the nearness of Jesus especially today and in the next few weeks leading up to the anniversary of Nate's death.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 I pray that this would be of comfort to you. That in time, at some point in your life, God will use you to walk with others. That at some point you will be able to share your journey with other hurting woman who will need a shoulder to cry on a listening ear that understands.
