Psalm 84
How lovely is Your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty!
My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young— a place near Your altar,
O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they are ever praising You.
Blessed are those whose strength is in You,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.


As they pass through the Valley of Baca (desert),
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.

They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.

Hear my prayer, O LORD God Almighty; listen to me, O God of Jacob.
Look upon our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one.

Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

My prayer for you today is from Ephesians 3---
"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

I was thinking of you again this weekend. Pastor Dan was sharing and it was another powerful message for me on Authentic Christianity. My prayer for you today is that you would recognize and feel God's power as he "camps with you" wherever you are at.
I would love to see you soon as well! (I hear you've been sharing stories about me to some of those Trekkers!!).

i think of you often and pray for you, not knowing what words to say but my spirit groans and i trust our Saviour will intercede and say the right things on my behalf. your life has touched mine and i have seen so much of God's beauty reflected in you, even in the midst of such intense pain.
We are living out in the interior of BC running a Camp and Retreat Centre, if you ever want a place to get away into the beauty of nature, (it's about 4 hours from Abby.) don't hesitate to contact us.
